Hi from The Hummingbird

Hi, welcome to my new blog about all things Wellness. As a quick introduction, I'm Christina and I am a qualified Reflexologist, Aromatherapist and Massage therapist living life to the full through wellness, fitness, great nutrition and of course having a sense of humour!

I am the owner of 2 wellness businesses. Firstly Hummingbird Hideaway which is a one of a kind therapy room offering fully bespoke treatments focused on my clients well being, including Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Therapeutic Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Facial Treatments. My aim at the Hideaway is to provide caring and nourishing treatments with exceptional service so every client gets 100% focused attention allowing them an hour or so of uninterrupted 'me-time' to relax and rejuvenate, who doesn't want that!

Secondly I have recently set up The Sparkling Violetear. This is an online marketplace selling fun and fresh designer resources to other therapists in order

to help them to grow their businesses with style. With a past career in Marketing & Sales its great for me to be able to use those skills and combine them with my love of wellness to enhance peoples lives.

As for my home life, Im a mum to 2 gorgeous kiddies aged 4 & 5, I have a crazy cocker spaniel named Mary, Im a wife to an amazingly supportive and wonderful husband and I live in pretty much the middle of the country in England. I love to travel and have adventures, I actually love change and the excitement and variety it can bring to life. Food is a huge part of my life, cooking it, eating it, talking about it, thinking about it..you get the idea. Thankfully fitness and good health is also a big part of my life!

So thats a little bit about me, Im sure you'll learn more as the blog progresses.

So, what is this new blog all about?

Wellness, in short! I want to share tips and tricks, how I fit wellness into my manic life and inspiration as to how it could fit within your lives. I want to discuss what wellness even is and what it means to different people. Look at the benefits of living well, and how just some small changes can make a huge difference. No-one is perfect and least of all me (and my chocolate addiction) but we can all take steps towards leading a healthier, happier and hopefully longer life, whilst actually enjoying our lives and not feeling like its a chore. If you're up for that then join me for what will hopefully be a lighthearted education journey for all of us, with a giggle or two along the way :-)
